Need a DJ for your wedding, but don't want the run of the mill wedding DJ?

Andy has been DJ’ing and speaking on the radio, at private functions and weddings since the 1990's.  You may remember him from his days on Radio 2 with Jonathan Ross where he co- hosted and produced the Saturday morning show.

He likes to offer something different to other wedding DJ's.  He doesn't work to a play list, instead he prefers to work the room, showing off his talent in selecting the best cuts to dance to, as he specialises in playing Soul, Northern Soul, Funk, RnB, plus a splash of Reggae and Ska.   He will play the recognised classics within these genres, but what he really enjoys is introducing guests to wonderful, little heard tracks, be them vintage or modern, offering you a bespoke night of thoughtfully chosen tunes.

It's important to have the right lighting around the dance area, so guests don't feel inhibited, so included are disco lights and LED par-cans plus various twinkly lights and lasers.  Andy works from a specialised DJ booth that has a black back-cloth with in-built white fairy lights, to add to the atmosphere, but if you really want to go all out, you can hire his smoke or bubble machine too.

Andy is also a very experienced MC (Master of Ceremonies), so if you are stuck for someone to announce you into dinner, direct guests for cake cutting, bouquet throwing etc, then do talk to him about this service.

Besides DJ'ing your evening party, Andy can provide extra sound systems to cover off the ceremony, background music during the drinks reception or music during dinner, or maybe you need a couple of microphones and a speaker for your speeches?

Please discuss this with him when you first speak, so you have a clear idea of what your costs will be for your big day - no last minute add ons.

Once booked you will be sent a contract and asked to pay a 20% deposit to secure the date.

If possible Andy likes to meet you before the wedding, either in person if you are staying in France nearby or by Skype, he continues communication by email and Skype.

If your venue isn't known to Andy, he will acquaint himself with the venue, either by talking to the venue host, or visiting, if within a reasonable distance.  Either way, he ensures that he is up to speed on the room dimensions as these will have an effect on the acoustics, and the availability of power outlets etc.

He arrives at least an hour and a half prior to your start time to be ready.  This can be earlier if necessary, as the last thing you need is some bloke dragging music equipment through your drinks reception!

His library contains mostly British and American musical acts, but more recently he has added to this with some popular French tracks, for those who prefer a more European feel!

Venue requirements:

*At least two power outlets (2 pin) to be made available.

*Adequate shelter, if the music is to be outside.

 Contractual requirements:

*A hot meal and beverages during the evening, (please tell your your planner/chef, fish or veg only please).

*If your venue is over an hour and a half away, then you will need to provide suitable local accommodation for Andy for the night, or add 60€ to the total, and he will organise this.

Prices start from 1050€ plus travel, but Andy will talk to you about your exact requirements for the day so that every possible scenario is covered.
